On Sunday, September 22, a 19-year-old man from Itzehoe boarded a passenger bus parked at the depot. He got behind the wheel and stepped on the gas, but his trip was short-lived – the young man lost control and crashed into nearby cars.
In general, the offender damaged more than 20 cars, finally stopped in the parking lot of the city court.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured. The hijacker himself told the police that he just wanted to take the bus, and asked that his actions not be classified as an attempt to steal public transport.
Last month, a similar incident took place in Bremen. There, a 15-year-old teenager introduced himself to the fleet leader as a trainee from a transport company and also sat in the driver’s seat, also managing to collect passengers. The schoolboy was soon detained, but a few days later he tried to drive a bus again, but this time in Lower Saxony. According to law enforcement officials, the teenager wanted to “demonstrate his passionate desire to stop the vehicle.”
We remind you that in the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers detained a man who stole his girlfriend’s car after a date.
Earlier, two Ukrainians were detained at the border between Germany and Poland, driving a Mercedes stolen in Germany.
