Russian invaders carried out 22 attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy Oblast at night and in the morning of September 23.

A total of 30 explosions were recorded, the press service of the Sumy Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The following were subjected to shelling:
- Seredino-Buda community – FPV drone attack (three explosions);
- Putivl community – the launch of a KAB was recorded (two explosions);
- Belopol society – the enemy fired from artillery (five explosions) and KAB (one explosion);
- Krasnopolskoye society – a UAV dropped a VOG (six explosions), KAB strikes (two explosions);
- Khotyn community – a KAB was launched (four explosions);
- Popovskaya community – rocket attack recorded (one explosion);
- Novoslobodskaya community – a KAB was launched (two explosions);
- Esmani Community – FPV drone attack occurred (one explosion);
- Youth Community – KAB strike (one explosion);
- Verkhnesyvorotskaya community – an attack by a Shahed type UAV was carried out (one explosion).
