On September 19, Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko met with the head of the self-proclaimed DPR Denis Pushilin.
The meeting of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus with the leader of the terrorist Donetsk People’s Republic will have consequences for Ukraine’s relations with Belarus. The position of the current Minsk is dictated directly from Moscow. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on September 22.
This meeting is yet another confirmation that the position of the current Belarusian government on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine is dictated exclusively by the Kremlin’s instructions and has nothing to do with international law or the international obligations of the Republic of Belarus, the statement says.
The Foreign Ministry believes that the dictator’s rhetoric about the principles of cooperation with the WTO is hypocrisy and support for war.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on the Belarusian people to realize that Lukashenko’s statements about his “warm feelings” for the “brotherly Ukrainian people” sound like a mockery. And it emphasized that the dictator’s actions “destroy the principles on which relations between the Ukrainian and Belarusian peoples were built.”
Let us recall that in August it became known that Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko ordered the transfer of some military equipment to Belarus to reinforce the Russian army, in particular in the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting an operation.
