Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a second ammunition depot near Russian Toropets.
The satellite has already recorded significant destruction on the territory of the 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (GRAU) in the village of Oktyabrskaya in the Tver Region. This was reported by Radio Liberty on September 22.
In the northern part of the warehouse, more than half of the ammunition storage areas were completely burned out. However, the southern part was practically undamaged by the attack.
Let us recall that earlier, not far from this place, the 107th arsenal of the GRAU in Toropets was attacked – on the night of September 21, SBU drones struck the arsenal in the Tver region. The warehouse stored Iskander, Tochka-U ballistic missiles, as well as North Korean-made KN-23 missiles.
The American Institute for the Study of War stated that future strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian arsenals could not only destroy a significant portion of the Russians’ material reserves, but also affect the invaders’ offensive across the entire theater of military operations.
