SBU officers carried out an operation to destroy the Russian Buk-M3 air defense system and aimed HIMARS at the MLRS.
The corresponding video of the destruction of enemy equipment was published on the official SBU page in Telegram.
During one of the combat missions, SBU officers discovered an enemy Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in a firing position.
To destroy the enemy complex, the defenders used the Switchblade 600 bomb, which successfully destroyed the Russian complex.
“Military” writes that the “Buk-M3” is the most modern version, using missiles with an active homing head, which significantly increased their effectiveness on the battlefield.
The complex is built on a fundamentally different element base, which greatly distinguishes it from older versions. In addition, the complex has 12 ready-to-fire 9R31M missiles.
In addition to the SAM system, SBU officers also aimed a HIMARS rocket system at a hangar where a Russian MLRS based on the MT-LB was located.
The Russian rocket launcher used the Grad MLRS launchers and was most likely upgraded in the field.
