A batch of Apple laptops were seized at the border

These devices were allegedly a package that the bus driver picked up in Düsseldorf and was supposed to return to Kyiv.

At the Krakovets checkpoint on the Polish border, dozens of Apple Mac Book Air laptops were found and seized from one of the buses. The State Border Guard Service reported this on Saturday, September 21.

“Undeclared goods were found in the driver’s rest area, hidden in a suitable place for things. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the discovered goods could reach three million hryvnias, in total, border guards found 61 Apple Mac Book laptops, the report said.

According to the bus driver, these devices were allegedly a package that he picked up in Dusseldorf and was supposed to return to Kyiv.

Customs officials seized the undeclared goods.

Earlier, smuggled branded goods were discovered at the Polish border. The batch of clothes and shoes cost 6.7 million hryvnias.
