The Tikhoretsk ammunition depots, which were allegedly struck by Ukrainian drones on the night of September 21, were intended for storing North Korean shells and missiles.
The American military think tank CSIS reported this back in February 2024. It wrote that this arsenal was specially completed and expanded after the start of Russia’s military cooperation with the DPRK.
The report also cited satellite images as saying that North Korean ammunition was being sent to warehouses in Mozdok and the Yegorlitskaya airbase in the Rostov region.
Let us recall that Ukrainian drones destroyed two more ammunition depots in Russia: near Tikhoretsk in Krasnodar Krai and in Oktyabrsky in Tver Oblast.
Local residents near Krasnodar have filmed many spectacular videos, and the fire at the newly destroyed warehouse near Tver is visible even from meteorological satellites: no clouds are forming above it.
The authorities of these Russian regions announced “the fall of debris from downed drones.”
