Rescuers have completed work at the site of an air strike carried out by the Russian military on a geriatric boarding house in Sumy. The State Emergency Service reported this on the evening of Thursday, September 19.
It was noted that employees of the State Emergency Service evacuated 147 people from the damaged building. The rescue work is over.
According to the latest information, as a result of KAB’s enemy descending on the establishment, one woman was killed and 14 were injured.
Meanwhile, the Sumy Regional Administration reported that people from the boarding house were placed in other institutions, they were given medical, psychological and all necessary assistance.
The roof, upper floor, windows, and doors of the building were damaged.
