The town representative’s lawyers asked the court to change the preventive measure to night house arrest from 12 am to 7 am or release him on personal recognizance.
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv city extended the preventive measure in the form of 24-hour house arrest for MP Nikolai Tishchenko for another two months. He is also required to wear an electronic bracelet, Suspilne reported on Thursday, September 19.
“Tishchenko is subject to round-the-clock house arrest until November 23 inclusive,” the message said.
It was indicated that during the meeting, the prosecutors petitioned to extend the measure of detention for the representative of the people for two months, including the ban on leaving his place of residence, as well as a request to wear of an electronic bracelet and perform all established functions.
In turn, Tishchenko’s lawyers asked the court to change the preventive measure to night house arrest from 12 midnight to 7 am or to release him on personal recognizance. Tishchenko himself also applied for release on personal recognizance.
Let’s recall that on June 25, law enforcement officials expressed suspicion to Nikolai Tishchenko about the events in the Dnieper, where on June 20, a group of unknown people attacked a former fighter of the special Kraken unit, Dmitry “Son” Pavlov, as he walks with a child. The video shows that the security of MP Tishchenko, with whom Pavlov had a fight, was involved in this.
It was also reported that Nikolai Tishchenko destroyed his mobile phone when the suspicion was handed to him. But this did not stop the investigation from getting information from him.
