A satellite image has appeared showing the aftermath of Ukrainian Navy strikes on enemy ammunition depots near occupied Mariupol.
The photographs show the aftermath of fires and detonations of ammunition in three different locations on the outskirts of the city. Eyewitnesses say some of the strikes took place as early as September 13, while others were carried out by Ukrainian defenders on September 16. The images were published by Radio Liberty’s Russian service on Telegram.
As noted in Defence Express, the Ukrainian fleet struck the occupiers’ convoy with domestically produced Neptune cruise missiles. The strike was carried out on a target located less than 100 km from the front line.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian Navy recently launched a missile strike on important ammunition depots discovered by intelligence near the temporarily occupied Mariupol. Both the infrastructure of the storage facilities and the tons of ammunition that the Russians had been stockpiling for shelling were destroyed.
