Several K-pop groups and soloists from JYP Entertainment have come together to celebrate JY Park’s 30th debut anniversary; find out who they are!
During last Monday, 16th, TWICE, 2PM, Wonder Girls, Rain and god got together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut Park Jin Youngbetter known as JY Parkthe founder and former CEO of JYP Entertainment.
Broadcast by KBS, the celebration sought to recognize the work and contribution of the artist and businessman to the Korean pop industry since 1994, featuring 29 performances by groups and solo idols who have been managed by the label, or remain with the company to this day.
One of the main highlights of the musical event was the moment where JY Park danced to “What is Love?” along with six of the nine members of TWICE, which also ended up going viral on social media after the broadcast; check it out!
During the same night, boy group 2PM also took to the stage, delivering an electrifying performance of “Heartbeat.” At the end of the show, JYP joined the stage to dance with the current six members, giving the performance a “birthday boy” vibe; check it out!
All groups had two performances in total, including duets with Sunmi and Sunyeby Wonder Girls, with soloist Rain and a full vocal performance with the boy band god; watch below!
