Due to the difficult situation in the energy sector, after 21:00 the water supply will stop and the water pumping stations will fill the reservoirs.
Sumy residents should stock up on water until 21:00, because due to the difficult energy situation in the city, the water supply will stop. Acting Sumy mayor Artem Kobzar reported this.
According to Gorvodokanal KP, after 21:00, water pumping stations will fill the reservoirs.
As a result of the night air strike in Sumy, all water supply facilities were cut off. The water supply switched to emergency backup power, except for the third lift pump of the central heating unit. At the same time, the drainage system continues to work, and water is supplied to the city with reduced pressure.
By 10:30, power supply was restored to all water intakes, water pumping stations began operating as usual, and normal pressure was established to supply water to the city.
After 13:00, due to power outage, Tokarevsky and Topolyansky water intakes supplied water with reduced pressure. Four other water intakes (Lepekhovsky, Luchansky, Prishibsky, Novo-Obolonsky) have been switched to emergency power supply and are working to fill clean water reservoirs. Once this process is completed, the second lift pump is turned on and the water supply resumes.
We remind you that tonight the Russians launched a massive UAV strike on Sumy and energy facilities in Konotop, Akhtyrsky and Sumy regions. Air defense forces shot down 16 suicide bombers in the Sumy region.
