The corresponding document was developed with the aim of increasing the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use unmanned and robotic systems.
President Vladimir Zelensky signed bill No. 11507, which provides for the integration of Unmanned Systems Forces into several branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As reported in the bill card on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, on September 16 the bill was returned with the signature of the Ukrainian head of state.
The corresponding document was developed with the aim of increasing the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use unmanned and robotic air, sea and ground systems, ensuring their readiness for use.
The implementation of the law will be carried out within the limits of the state budget funds provided by the Ministry of Defense for the corresponding year.
Earlier in June, Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree approving the decision of the National Security Council on the creation of Unmanned Systems Forces in Ukraine.
