So far, more than 900 thousand people in the business have booked. The government is working hard to improve the reservation system.

Ukrainian authorities admitted the possibility of increasing economic reservations for citizens against the backdrop of mobilization. Today more than 900 thousand people have this “reservation”. This is what Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) forum.

Answering the question of whether the mobilization, the speed of which is growing, can blow up the country’s economy, the head of government noted the active work of the Cabinet of Ministers to maintain balance in the relationship with the military.

“Mobilization now is a priority, it’s survival. And we understand that maintaining the balance requires a certain coordination between the Ukrainian government, military, and business,” said Szmigal.

The prime minister noted that the authorities have promised to update the “booking product for business” in the near future. But he added that in this process there will be an important principle of “fight or work.”

“In a country at war, there is no other way than when part of the population fights and pays for our future victory with their lives, the second part of the population must definitely work, fill the budget, make weapons , create everything in order. to support those on the front line now,” – he emphasized.

According to Shmygal, this principle is “very important for our survival and success.”

“At the moment, we have more than 900 thousand people booked in the business. This is an important indicator that we understand that we can assume a larger number of people booked in the business, but on the condition that the ” “mathematics” of mobilization is fully followed. noted the prime minister.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers added that this important point is “a red thread for our government.”

We remind you that since the official launch of the electronic booking service through the Diya portal, critical enterprises and those working for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have booked almost 120 thousand workers.

As of August 1, 615 thousand men liable for military service received deferment from conscription due to reservations. The most “booked” is in the energy industry.
