The air force clarified that we are talking about 76 drones, of which 72 targets were shot down, and how many more were lost or returned to Russia.

On the night before September 14, the invaders attacked Ukraine with more than 70 drones. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram

“This night the enemy launched more than 70 suicide bombers across Ukraine. Thanks to the forces of our defenders, most were shot down,” he wrote.

The head of state thanked the army aviation soldiers, mobile fire groups and air defense, which in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Kherson, Kharkov and Donetsk regions protected Ukrainians all night.

“We need more opportunities to strengthen the air shield, air defense and long-range range to continue to protect life and our people.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces added that radio technical troops found and escorted 76 “martyrs” in the direction of Kursk, Yeisk – Russian Federation, Chauda – Crimea.

“As a result of the battle against the aircraft, 72 enemy UAV attacks were shot down within the regions of Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Poltava, Kharkov, Kyiv, Donetsk, Zhitomir, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa and Sumy… Two enemy drones disappeared locally on the territory of Ukraine, two more – returned to Russia, “said the military.

Earlier, Zelensky said that the delay in decision-making by Western partners on the removal of restrictions on Ukraine for the use of long-range weapons leads to the fact that the Russians are moving facilities of the military deeper into the country.
