What Donald Trump’s “peace plan” for Ukraine means was explained by Republican Vice Presidential candidate James D. Vance on the Shawn Ryan Show podcast.
“I think what it’s going to look like is Trump sits down and says to the Russians and the Ukrainians and the Europeans, ‘You guys have to figure out what a peace settlement looks like.’ And it’s probably going to look something like the current line of demarcation between Russia and Ukraine. It’s going to be like a demilitarized zone. It’s going to be heavily fortified so the Russians don’t invade again,” Vance said.
Republicans believe that such a decision will help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty.
Russia wants this war to end. Ukraine wants this war to end. Europe, which underfunded this war while American taxpayers were generous to the Ukrainians, also wants the war to end because it raises energy prices, the statement said.
Trump’s ally also said that in order to end the war as quickly as possible, Ukraine must refuse to join NATO.
Europe, by the way, underfunded support for Ukraine, while American taxpayers were very generous to the Ukrainians, Vance noted.
According to him, Europe allegedly wants to end the war in Ukraine due to rising energy prices.
