The President noted the continued cooperation of the ISS with the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Zelensky recalled that Ukraine had ratified the Rome Charter and stressed that it was crucial to prevent court decisions on arrest warrants for Russian war criminals from being ignored.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the fight against the forced expulsion and deportation of Ukrainian children and the investigation of these crimes.
As reported, according to Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets, 931 children were returned from work in the territory controlled by Ukraine through the efforts of state authorities and the public sector.
We remind you that Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin noted that law enforcement officials are currently investigating about 4 thousand criminal cases of war crimes against Ukrainian children.
