The case of a man who systematically committed psychological and physical violence against couples in the Kyiv region for more than three years was sent to court. The Kiev Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on September 10.
It was found that in one of the episodes of violence, the accused deprived the victim of his freedom by locking him in the basement of the house, inflicted many blows on the victim’s head and legs, and also committed sexual acts against him.
After the woman got out of the basement, with the help of strangers, she called the police, who tried to stop the accused.
The attacker also threatened to kill the police with an F-1 fragmentation hand grenade, which was in combat position. During this time, the accused’s children were at home.
A preventive measure in the form of detention was reportedly applied to the accused.
We remind you that in the Chernihiv region, suspects in the murder of wives and their children were detained.
It was also reported that in the Khmelnitsky region, a man and a woman tortured a neighbor and tried to take him to the forest, considering him a witch.
