In addition, according to Shmyhal, in Ukraine in 2023, weapons production increased threefold, and in the first eight months of this year, it was possible to increase production by another two times.
The Prime Minister said that Ukraine needs about ten thousand sappers to clear the territories contaminated by Russian mines in five years. According to him, there are currently 53 anti-mine operators and about three thousand sappers in Ukraine.
