Blinken confirmed Iran’s missile transfer to Russia

Iran transfers short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for war against Ukraine. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this in London, The Washington Post reports on Tuesday, September 10.

“We warned Tehran publicly, we warned Tehran in particular, that such a move would be a dangerous escalation. Russia has now received delivery of these missiles,” Blinken said and suggested that the Russians could use Iranian missiles within weeks.

According to him, in this regard, the United States will announce new sanctions against Iran today. The restrictions will also affect Iranian state airline Iran Air.

It was also reported that Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy will visit Kyiv this week.

Earlier, the media reported that Iran had sent short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. In this regard, Tehran has officially denied supplying the missiles.

But the previous day, Iranian MP Ahmad Bakhshaesh Ardestani admitted that his country had indeed equipped Moscow with ballistic missiles.
