The bridge near the village of Karyzh received significant damage, but cars can still pass through it.
The Ukrainian military in the Kursk region attacked a bridge near the village of Karyzh. The corresponding video was published on Sunday, September 8, by the Khorne Group unit from the 116th separate mechanized brigade.
Analysts on the Militarny website believe that an American HIMARS or M270 rocket launcher was used to defeat the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted that the bridge received significant damage, but the Russians could install boards that would allow light vehicles to travel.
The village of Karyzh is located on the banks of the Seim River, 7 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border and 12 km from the northwest of the regional center – the urban village of Glushkovo. With the start of the Ukrainian operation on the territory of the Kursk region in August 2024, most of the residents of Karyzh were evacuated to Kursk.
Let’s remember that before this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed several bridges and crossings on the Seim River in the Kursk region, which complicated the supplies of the Russian group, which is between this water obstacle to the west and north, the Ukrainian border in the south. and the advancing units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east.
