On September 5, Russian invaders carried out a massive shelling of the city of Slavyansk in the Donetsk region. 59 houses were damaged, and 20 private houses caught fire.
A video showing the elimination of the consequences of the shelling today, September 7, was published by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
During reconnaissance of the shelling zone, rescuers found a child and his mother in one of the damaged houses. Understanding the danger of repeated shelling, rescuers immediately evacuated them to a safe place, the department said.
It is noted that rescuers fought the fire for more than a day and, despite the danger of repeated shelling, extinguished the fire on an area of 1,310 square meters.
