The President of Ukraine commented in the conversation that the offensive of the Russian army in the direction of Pokrovsky has stopped.
The situation in the direction of Pokrovsky in the past few days is “better,” but it is necessary to wait for stabilization. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with Ukrainian media, which was broadcast during a telethon on Saturday, September 7.
“The situation there (in the direction of Pokrovsky – ed.) is not easy in any case, I thank the soldiers, and before leaving for about three or four days, the situation we discussed all these details three times, so now I don’t want to speak early when everything is stabilized there, God willing, then we will talk,” the head of state said.
Let’s recall that on September 5, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky said that the Ukrainian troops were able to stop the advance of the Russians in the direction of Pokrovsky.
In the past 24 hours, 187 military clashes with Russian troops were recorded on the front of the enemy who most actively advanced in the direction of Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky.
