The United States has announced a new $250 million package of military aid to Ukraine under the President’s Arms Reduction Authority (PDA).
This was reported today, August 18, on the Pentagon website.
This is the 65th aid package provided to Ukraine by the Biden administration since August 2021.
It includes:
- RIM-7 missiles and air defense support;
- Stinger missiles;
- HIMARS ammunition;
- 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition;
- TOW anti-tank missiles;
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- Bradley infantry fighting vehicles;
- M113 armored personnel carriers;
- MRAP armored military vehicles;
- small arms ammunition and grenades;
- patrol boats;
- marine training equipment;
- equipment and ammunition for blasting operations;
- spare parts, auxiliary equipment, services, training and transportation.
It is noted that this package is aimed at satisfying the most important military needs of Ukraine.
