The National Bank of Ukraine strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar and the euro on the last working day of the week. The American currency fell to its lowest level in a month, according to data on the regulator’s website on Friday, September 6.
So, the official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 41.0168. for 1 dollar (-0.0722 UAH). The rate was lower almost a month ago – on August 9 (40.9926 UAH/dollar).
In turn, the euro exchange rate will be 45.5574 UAH (-0.0308 UAH).
Today in the interbank market, the American currency fell another 9 kopecks to 40.96-40.99 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In turn, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – to UAH 41.40.
We remind you that in August the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves. The number of interventions has been minimal in the past three months.
It is also known that the NBU has introduced a limit on transfers from card to card. So, the regulator declared war on “drops”.
