In the Zakarpattia region, a woman said that her father was illegally detained by employees of the TCC and SP. In her appeal to the representative of the ombudsman, she indicated that the man was beaten and this led to his death, said the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.

    .

He noted that this case requires immediate, comprehensive and impartial investigation. Lubinets also sent a request to the Prosecutor General to clarify all the circumstances of the case.

If violations are detected, I will demand that the guilty officials be held accountable, regardless of their titles, ranks and positions they hold. Justice must be restored, and everyone must be punished accordingly! – the ombudsman stated.

In total, Lubinets noted that in Zakarpattia the number of complaints regarding illegal actions of representatives of the TCC and SP has increased.
