President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Ukraine’s special operation in the Kursk region.
Ukraine is currently implementing all the defined tasks within the framework of its operation in the Kursk region. Today, the largest replenishment of the exchange fund is in this direction alone. The head of state stated this following the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
It is very important that all the defined tasks of our Kursk operation are being implemented, he noted.
Also, according to the president, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “specifically” reported on Pokrovsk, Toretsky and Kurakhovsky directions. Zelensky did not disclose the details of this report.
As is known, the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command reported that as of August 27, Ukraine controlled 1,294 square kilometers of Russian territory. And the Washington Post reported that Ukraine controls the Sudzha gas measuring station, located approximately 8 kilometers deep into the aggressor country.
Recall that CNN reported that Ukraine’s daring invasion of Russia’s Kursk region was a triumph of its military intelligence and tactical maneuverability, as well as a signal that, despite its superiority in manpower and armored vehicles, the Russian army has many vulnerabilities.
