Through a post on Instagram, a user recreated the Harry Potter characters as Pixar animations; check it out!
The expansion of the Harry Potter franchise occurred mainly after the release of the film series, which took place between 2001 and 2011. Since then, it is not difficult to see that fans are spread across the most diverse age groups and in different places around the world, whether through the consumption of licensed products or simply enjoying physical and digital media.
Furthermore, one of the areas in which we can find a large part of the admirers of the magical world is through fanarts, as they bring different forms of expression, features and possibilities of encounters between the characters that, sometimes, did not even happen during the plot.
In a post from the “hogwarts.station” profile on Instagram (via ScreenRant), this was exactly the idea that user “baobab707” wanted to express. In true Pixar style, he shared a collection of images that recreated many of the iconic characters from the Harry Potter saga as if they were part of an animated film by the studio; check it out!
Looking closer, it is possible to see that the images include not only the characters, but also some references to the personality and past of each one. In the case of Lord Voldemort, who appears in the first image alongside the protagonist, there is both his appearance as Tom Riddle and as the true villain of the saga.
As for Professor Lupin, we see that his face is half human and half wolf, referencing his ability to transform into the animal. The rest of the faculty, such as Flitwick and Pomona Sprout, appear with elements that recall their subjects at Hogwarts, such as the feather and the plant.
For those who also miss the wizarding world, Max’s new series will readapt the books from the Harry Potter saga, with the episodes featuring the direct involvement of the author herself. J.K. Rowlingbehind the scenes. The production is scheduled to premiere in 2026 on the streaming service.
