The composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will be changed by 50%, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country will also change.
Ukraine is about to undergo the biggest personnel change since the beginning of the Russian invasion. President Vladimir Zelensky, announcing the unrest, said that the fall will be very important for the country, and “state institutions must be configured so that Ukraine can achieve all the results we need.”
Who will come out?
On Monday and Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada received resignation statements from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina, Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshyn, Minister of Justice Denis Malyuski, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strelets and Chairman of the State Property Fund Vitaly Koval.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba is also leaving. According to media reports, Kuleba could be offered a post in Brussels, in the missions of the EU or NATO – or the position of ambassador in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The new Minister of Foreign Affairs is Andrei Sibiga, the first representative of the current minister. Siga is a career diplomat. He worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 2016 to 2021 he was the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, and then took the position of deputy head of the presidential office, where he handled policy issues exterior.
Olga Stefanishina, perhaps, after her formal resignation, will return to the position of Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to which she will be appointed as Minister of Justice.
Instead of Ruslan Strelets, it is planned to appoint Svetlana Grinchuk, who currently holds the position of Deputy Minister of Energy, as the Minister of Environment.
The Ministry of Strategic Industries will be headed by German Smetanin, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs will be headed by Natalya Kalmykova,
United Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine – Alexey Kuleba.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, without an acting prefix, will be headed by Matvey Bedny, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food will be headed by Vitaly Koval. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine will be headed by Nikolai Tochitsky. He is a career diplomat, former consul general in San Francisco, permanent representative of Ukraine at the Council of Europe and former ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg.
They plan to appoint Irina Vereshchuk and Alexander Kamyshin to the position of deputy heads of the Presidential Office.
