On the occasion of the arrival of the Russian dictator, the Mongolian authorities prepared a ceremony with a red carpet and a guard of honor.
Mongolian police prevented protesters from displaying the Ukrainian flag during Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s visit to the capital Ulaanbaatar. It was reported by Radio Liberty.
At Ulaanbaatar International Airport, a red carpet was rolled out for the Kremlin boss and a guard of honor was lined up, the media said.
Mongolian President Ukhnagiin Khurelsukh also accompanied Putin to the Government Palace on Tuesday, September 3, where they greeted a statue of Genghis Khan before going inside for closed meetings.
As is known, Putin’s visit to Mongolia on September 3 was the first visit to a state party to the Rome Statute of the ICC since the court issued a warrant for his arrest in March 2023.
