Harris’ overall support has not increased much since the Democratic National Convention, although he has maintained a slight lead over Trump.
US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris widens her gap with former President Trump among women in a new poll. The Hill wrote this on Monday, September 2.
The poll showed Harris leading among women with a score of 54% to former President Donald Trump’s 41%. Last month, Harris led Trump in that demographic by just 6 percentage points.
At the same time, Trump was ahead of Harris among men: 51% to 46%.
It has been suggested that the increase in Harris’ rating was largely due to white women. Before the Democratic National Convention, Trump had a 13% lead in this category of voters, but now he has only a 2% lead.
“Women are considered an important voting bloc for Kamala Harris’ successful presidential campaign,” the newspaper wrote.
A new poll shows Harris leading Trump 50% to 46% among all adults and registered voters.
The survey was conducted August 23-27 and included 2,496 interviews. The sampling error is 2.1% at a 95% confidence level.
It was previously reported that Harris was leading or running alongside Trump in each of the seven key states.
We remind you that the US Democratic Party Convention on August 20 officially approved Vice President Kamala Harris as its presidential candidate in the upcoming November elections.
