At least 13 people were injured in a Russian strike on two children’s institutions in the heart of a residential neighborhood of the city.
In Sumy, the number of victims of the missile attack carried out by Russian troops on the night of September 1 on a center for the psychological rehabilitation of children and an orphanage has increased. This was reported by the Sumy City Council.
“According to information from Deputy City Mayor Stanislav Polyakov, 13 victims are now known,” the message said.
It is known that the four injured are in the hospital. The same number who received medical care on site, five will be treated on an outpatient basis.
In addition, as a result of the missile strike, approximately up to 400 windows in the houses were damaged.
“Continuously eliminating the consequences of the emergency situation specialists from the State Emergency Service and structural divisions of the city council are working,” the message said.
