Border guards showed the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko is amassing troops on the border with Ukraine under the guise of military exercises. In response, border guards are strengthening their defenses in the Chernihiv region. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The State Tax Service of Ukraine showed a video of some fortifications along the border, protected by anti-drone nets. The footage also showed artificial ramparts, anti-tank ditches, barbed wire fences and minefields. The border defenders reported that the total length of the border between Ukraine and Belarus is 1,084 km.
A border guard with the call sign Bullet said that things are calm on the Belarusian side now and there is no aggression. The fighter noted that they are on combat alert 24/7 and are ready to defend Ukrainian land.
Let us recall that the monitoring group “Belarusian Gayun” reported that Belarus had transferred at least a thousand troops to the border with Ukraine after the start of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region. Several helicopters and attack aircraft were also sent to the Gomel region, as well as a number of units with armored personnel carriers, tanks and S-300PS anti-aircraft missile systems.
Recently, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on Minsk to withdraw its troops to a safe distance from the border.
