The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two “fat” Russian targets on the front.
In the Kharkiv region, the soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade hit a Tor anti-aircraft missile system. They also hit a 1A Sontsepek heavy flamethrower system, which had a 222-mm caliber and fired incendiary ammunition or a thermobar. The 3rd Assault Brigade reported this on Telegram.
In addition, the attack aircraft hit a Russian 2A36 Giatsint-B cannon with attack drones. There were also hits on enemy trucks, loaves, a position with a Russian machine gunner, drone operators and a couple of enemy antennas.
As is known, the TOS-1A Soncepek is considered a very dangerous weapon, as it uses flamethrower or thermobaric ammunition. However, it has serious drawbacks, because it can shoot at a maximum of 6 km.
The Tor air defense missile system is an effective air defense weapon at altitudes of up to 6 km, designed to cover important administrative, economic and military facilities.
Let us recall that the operatives of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhya direction destroyed the heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A “Sontsepek”, which is the “pride” of the Russian military-industrial complex.
