According to the OVA, after the enemy shelling a business in Sumy that produces packaging for baby food, juices and household chemicals, black smoke was observed in the sky, and studies on the quality of wind is carried out.
“To monitor the state of atmospheric air, specialists from the Sumy Laboratory Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine take samples of atmospheric air to conduct air quality studies for the content of chemicals at three points. According to the preliminary results, a slight excess in the concentration of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide,” said the report.
The Sumy Regional Center for Hydrometeorology also analyzes atmospheric air samples taken at stationary observation posts for monitoring the state of atmospheric air in the city of Sumy.
It was noted that until the fire is completely extinguished and the research results are received, Sumy residents are recommended to close their windows and spend less time in the open air, especially people who are susceptible to allergic reaction, limit the presence of children on the street as much as possible, carefully handle objects and products that are on the street during the smoke.
