The Russian drone attack was repelled by Ukraine on the night of August 30.
Last night, the enemy launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from occupied Crimea. The enemy also launched 18 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack. The defenders of the sky managed to shoot down 12 Shaheds, and four more UAVs were lost in location – they fell on their own.
Ukrainian air defense operated in Vinnytsia, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Sumy regions.
Recall that on August 29, air defense forces shot down two missiles and 60 attack UAVs over Ukraine. The air defense forces operated within the Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Donetsk regions. Another 14 attack drones were lost or fell on Ukrainian territory.
