The artist planned to convert his home into a bomb shelter – he removed windows, doors, plumbing and electricity.

Controversial American rapper and designer Kanye West has sold his exclusive Malibu home for $21 million. TMZ reported it.

The property, located right on the beach with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, he bought three years ago for $57 million. West began converting the property into a bomb shelter, removing windows, doors, plumbing and electricity, but the project was never completed.

The new owner is the crowdfunding company Belwood, which plans to invest another $5 million to restore the house to its original condition. The estate was designed by the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

It was previously reported that Kanye West has established total control over his wife Bianca Censori.
