In some regions of the Russian Federation on the night of August 30, air defense systems were operating due to a drone attack. The Kaluga airport is said to be under attack. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapshi, and Russian Telegram channels.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 18 aircraft-type drones were allegedly destroyed by the air defense system that night. 11 drones were taken down in Bryansk region, 4 drones in Kaluga region, 2 UAVs in occupied Crimea and 1 more drone in Belgorod region.
According to the governor of Kaluga, this morning “outside of Kaluga, air defense forces destroyed 4 UAVs.”
