Two Russian citizens have been charged with acting in the interest of the intelligence service of the Russian Federation, which is launching a hybrid war aimed at destabilizing the political situation in Poland.
The trial of the two Russians, members of the group, will begin at the Krakow Voivodeship Court on September 9 Wagneraccused of participating in an international armed group and working for foreign intelligence. RMF24 reported this on Tuesday, August 27.
Two citizens of the Russian Federation – Alexey T. and Andrey G. – were accused of acting in favor of a foreign intelligence service and participating in an international armed association with the aim of committing crimes of a terrorist nature.
The defendants were engaged in recruitment in Poland for the group Wagner.
“For this purpose, they pasted at least several hundred so-called recruitment stickers throughout Krakow and Warsaw, which made it possible to establish direct contact with subsequent people responsible for recruitment and organization, ” said the National Prosecutor’s Office.
The Russians were also accused of acting in the interest of the intelligence service of the Russian Federation, conducting a hybrid war, in particular, propaganda activities aimed at destabilizing the political situation in Poland.
Let’s recall that the court in Uzbekistan sentenced 26-year-old Shavkat Yuldashev to two years and six months of forced labor on the charge of recruitment for participation in the war against Ukraine in the ranks of PMCs Wagner.
