Ukraine’s intelligence network is growing, although the recruitment process is “very painful” and consists of several stages. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, spoke about this on Sunday, August 25, for NV.
He mentioned that any operation behind enemy lines begins with the search for people willing to cooperate and their further recruitment.
“This stage is called “development”, and it is very painful,” said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
He also named three motives for intelligence cooperation.
“There are three motives for cooperation with intelligence – material and financial, ideological and patriotic, as well as hatred of a third party or a common enemy. Everything you “twist” in one way or another will lead to one in these options. ” said Budanov .
According to Budanov, Ukraine’s intelligence network is growing.
