The President believes that the traitors who supported the Russian invasion should be held accountable for their actions.
On Monday, August 26, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, convened a meeting of the heads of law enforcement agencies and several structures regarding traitors and their escape from Ukraine. The Ukrainian leader announced this in a speech on Sunday, August 25.
“Regarding individuals who work against our state: traitors in Ukraine who helped the Russian invasion or justified it, who fled Ukraine, who are hiding from the responsibility of our state need clear answers about such individuals,” he said.
According to him, all these “companions” should get what they deserve, “wherever they hide and wherever they run.”
It is known that the president has appointed a meeting with the participation of the heads of law enforcement agencies, in particular, the SBU, the Ministry of the Interior, and the DBR. It will also be attended by the leaders of NABU, SAPO, the Chairman of the State Border Service, the Prosecutor General and intelligence representatives.
“There is a lot to discuss at this meeting tomorrow and conclusions,” Zelensky added.
It was previously reported that MP Artem Dmitruk appeared in Moldova on Saturday, August 24. There he wrote a statement about illegal border crossing.
