Ukraine and India have agreed on four documents on cooperation.
The documents signed by the authorities of both countries concern medicine, agriculture, humanitarian aid and culture. In addition, a joint statement on the development of strategic partnership, trade and military-technical cooperation has been prepared. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
To date, we have agreed with our guests today, and with India, on four documents for this historic visit of Prime Minister Modi between Ukraine and India, the head of state noted.
In particular, Ukraine and India agreed on a memorandum of understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of India regarding Indian humanitarian grant aid for the implementation of effective community development.
The governments also signed an agreement on cooperation in agriculture and the food industry. In addition, a cultural cooperation program for 2024-2028 was agreed upon.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control and the Central Drug Standards Control Authority of the Ministry of Health of India.
Let us recall that on August 23, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ukraine on a visit at the invitation of Volodymyr Zelensky. It was expected that during the visit, Modi would share with Zelensky the prospects for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
