Today, August 23, another nuclear power unit in Ukraine completed repairs ahead of schedule, allowing it to avoid energy supply restrictions.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
Today, a nuclear power unit was connected to the power grid, which will add 1,000 MW of power and stability to the power grid and will make it possible to avoid restrictions on power supply to consumers, the statement said.
Energy Minister German Galushchenko emphasized that the planned repair of this nuclear unit, despite its early completion, was carried out in compliance with all safety standards.
Its connection will help balance the country’s energy system and avoid electricity restrictions, the minister emphasized.
