The Kherson region was again under Russian shelling.
The enemy used artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, aircraft and drones to strike settlements in the Berislav, Kherson and Kakhovka districts. As a result of the armed aggression, an 84-year-old woman was killed and 14 more residents were wounded. The National Police reported this on Telegram on August 22.
Thus, as a result of the shelling of Antonovka, an 84-year-old woman died in her own yard. In the same settlement, a 55-year-old and a 42-year-old critical infrastructure worker were wounded. They were eliminating the consequences of previous Russian attacks and four more men and one woman.
And in Nikolskoye, a 64-year-old woman was injured. In Komishany, a 72-year-old woman and two men aged 66 and 74 were injured as a result of Russian strikes.
An enemy drone injured a 57-year-old man in Kizomys, who was injured as a result of the explosives being dropped. Also, a 57-year-old man was injured in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson due to a Russian UAV attack. And in the center of Kherson, an occupier’s drone injured a 54-year-old woman.
Let us recall that on August 22, Kherson was partially left without electricity due to a Russian strike on a critical infrastructure facility. Power engineers are carrying out emergency repair work to restore power supply as quickly as possible.
