The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled a massive attack by the occupiers on one of the sections of the front.
On Wednesday, August 21, the 46th separate airmobile brigade repelled three Russian assaults. First, the enemy launched a T-90 tank and two infantry fighting vehicles, which were met with artillery fire and attack UAVs. The enemy equipment was destroyed. The 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Troops reported this on Facebook.
During the second assault, the invaders used two columns, each group containing two tanks and two armored combat vehicles. The Russians were met by artillery, anti-tank missile units, and FPV drone operators. Two armored combat vehicles were burned and two tanks were damaged. The second column retreated under complex fire damage.
The third time the occupiers stormed with three infantry fighting vehicles and a mortar. This equipment was destroyed thanks to the work of artillery units, antitank missile systems and UAVs.
In total, the enemy lost 13 units of weapons and military equipment.
Let us recall that a video was published online showing paratroopers from the 79th Tavricheskaya Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroying a column of Russian armored vehicles that had advanced to storm their positions. The enemy was destroyed far away from their positions.
