In Ternopil, as of this morning, August 22, measurements taken in different areas of the city showed that the air quality has returned to normal.
This was reported by the press service of the Ternopil Regional Military District.
On the morning of August 22, employees of the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health measured air quality in different areas of Ternopil. As of 8:00, the concentration of chlorine and hydrochloric acid in the air was below the norm, the report says.
There is no threat to the life and health of Ternopil residents, the OVA added.
Let us recall that on the night of August 20, as a result of an attack by Russian drones, a fire broke out in Ternopil – the city was enveloped in thick black smoke. Local residents were urged to limit their time outdoors and close windows indoors.
