Fighter jets hit weapons depots and buildings used by members of the group, the IDF said.
On the night of Thursday, August 22, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted major airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in ten southern regions of Lebanon. This was reported by the Israeli edition of the Times of Israel, citing an IDF statement.
The Israeli military noted that fighter jets struck weapons caches, buildings used by Hezbollah members and a rocket launcher in ten different locations in southern Lebanon.
There is no information about possible casualties as a result of the attack.
The large-scale IDF attack was in response to yesterday’s attack by the group on the northern city of Katzrin, where Hezbollah fired 50 rockets.
As is known, Hezbollah launched a two-drone strike in northern Israel on August 6, resulting in six casualties.
