Sappers of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations found the warhead of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Shahed-136 type in the village of Pilipovichi, Buchansky district, Kyiv region. The State Emergency Service reported this on its Telegram channel on Thursday, August 22.
“The pyrotechnic team received a call to the site, specialists took the dangerous object and brought it for destruction,” the message said.
Russian invaders attacked the territory of the Kyiv region with attack drones on the night of Thursday, August 22. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported this on Telegram.
All enemy targets were shot down by air defense forces. There were no fatalities or injuries, as well as no damage to critical or residential infrastructure.
Debris from downed drones fell outside populated areas.
As already reported, sappers of the State Emergency Service seized and destroyed a FAB-500 aerial bomb in the village of Malinovka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
Earlier, in a private household in Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, sappers recovered a high-explosive aerial bomb weighing 250 kg.
