The law guarantees military personnel currently fighting in the Russian Federation, especially in the Kursk region, the same payments and preferences as on the front line.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on social protection of Ukrainian military personnel. People’s representative Yaroslav Zheleznyak informed this on Tuesday, August 20.

The Verkhovna Rada voted on bill No. 11483 on the status of military personnel fighting in the territory of the Russian Federation. A total of 321 people’s representatives voted for the document.

The law guarantees military personnel currently fighting in the Russian Federation, especially in the Kursk region, the same payments and preferences as on the front line.

Let’s recall that in March the Verkhovna Rada adopted a general law on ensuring the rights of military personnel and police officers to social protection.
