The Supreme Court confirmed the sentence of a Ukrainian citizen convicted of raping children. The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Monday, August 19.
A resident of the Dnepropetrovsk region was previously sentenced to 15 years in prison.
It has been proven that living with her own three daughters, since they were 5 years old, the man systematically raped them from 2011 to 2019.
During court hearings, the convict did not admit his guilt and refused to give evidence.
At the same time, the juvenile prosecutors received irrefutable evidence, including identical testimonies from all the victims, forensic and psychological findings that confirmed many facts of sexual and psychological violence used by the father against to three daughters.
We remind you that a resident of the Dnieper was sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl.
Let’s add that in May, 292 cases of sexual violence committed by Russian invaders against Ukrainian citizens were recorded.
